The 8th International Conference on Energy, Sustainability and Climate Crisis (ESCC2021) took place in Volos City, Greece on August 30 - September 3, 2021 in HYBRID Mode under the auspices of the University of Florida, the University of Thessaly, the Rutgers University, the Cyprus University of Technology, BRNO University of Technology and Khalifa University. 

 

ESCC series aims on bringing together leading experts in the fields of energy, sustainability, climate change, optimization and computational methods to discuss recent advancements and trending topics.

 

Panos M. Pardalos, Distinguished Professor at the University of Florida, shared his knowledge and experience with the participants. At the end of the conference he gave the "Panos Pardalos" Best Student Award to Mr. Pluskal from Brno University and Mr. Spiliotopoulos from University of Thessaly who shared the victory.

 

LIFE GYR project was presented in a round table, during the natural resources and emissions session and the operational research session.
