European Commission seeks views on Horizon Europe First Strategic Plan 2021-2024

The European Commission is seeking views on the strategy and direction of it's investment in research and innovation in a new survey.

Horizon Europe, the ninth European Research and Innovation Framework programme (2021-2027), is the key instrument of the European Union (EU) for supporting research and innovation.

It also plays an important role in steering and accelerating Europe’s recovery, preparedness and resilience along the twin digital and green transitions.

The first Horizon Europe Strategic Plan will define the strategic orientations for EU research and innovation investments between 2021 and 2024 and will act as a compass to keep the political priorities of the European Commission, a climate-neutral and green Europe, fit for the digital age, on course.

This survey is part of the strategic planning process, to which the European Parliament, EU Member States, Countries of the European Economic Area (EEA Countries), as well as stakeholders and interested citizens, contribute collectively.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, 18 September 2020 (18.00 CET).
